Description
Detective Inspector Alex Ridley retired from the police force after years of dedicated service due to health concerns and grief after losing his wife and daughter. When his replacement and former protege DI Carol Farman seeks his advice on a complex and compelling murder case, the investigation takes a dark and unexpected twist. Carol is keen to access Ridley's unique insight into crime-solving which served them so well in the past. With more intriguing cases to solve, Ridley is enticed out of retirement, revivng his formidable and sucessful partnership with Carol. This series is inspired by the real-life retired detectives re-joining police forces in consultancy roles.
